Homogenizer – Uniform Illumination for Light Sources with Liquid Light Guides

The homogenizer supports 3 mm and 5 mm liquid light guides with NA = 0.57. Based on the honeycomb condenser principle, it divides the coupled light into multiple beamlets and superimposes them to generate a highly uniform flat-top field with low losses. Compared with an integrating sphere, this design provides significantly higher light throughput, making it ideal for applications requiring both high uniformity and high optical power in the usable field.
