      The homogenizer: For extremely homogenous and low-loss illumination

      Many applications in industry and research require high-quality optics for the homogeneous illumination of an object or an area. In order to achieve precise and reliably comparable measurement results, very low inhomogeneity is required on the one hand – that is to say, a very uniform light distribution – and on the other hand, the lowest possible loss of transmission.

      The homogenizer from lightsource.tech offers you extremely high homogeneity with a deviation of only ± 2% and at the same time a transmission of more than 50% of the coupled light. This is made possible by a flyeye condenser, which is equipped with two microlens arrays with 400 lens elements each. Furthermore, the optional optics made of quartz glass allows a wavelength range from DUV to NIR.

        Homogenizer – Homogenous illumination for multimode fiber light sources

        The homogenizer is compatible with multimode fibers with a numerical aperture of 0.22 or 0.50, thus also with the LS-WL1, the LS-BB1, the Monochromator-F and the Hyperchromator.

        The homogenizer’s flyeye condenser has two 400 microlenses, which ensure extremely high homogeneity. Optional quartz glass optics with a wavelength range of 200 nm to 2000 nm allow it to be used up to deep UV.

        The field size from 5 x 5 mm² can be adapted according to your needs.

        Conventional homogenizers often deliver an inhomogeneity of ± 10% or more. However, this imprecise illumination renders many tests and measurements impossible, or offers results that can only be compared imprecisely.

        However, thanks to a flyeye condenser with two arrays of 400 microlenses, the homogenizer from lightsource.tech allows the area to be illuminated extremely homogenously, with deviations of only minimum / maximum ± 2%.
